Career Services is the best source for career and internship information on campus. Students interested in law enforcement work in Minnesota should check with the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training board (POST), which lists available Mn. openings. Similarly, students interested in corrections positions should check with the Minnesota Department of Corrections, which also lists many available openings. Registration with Dragon Careers guarantees access to the best on campus information about jobs and internships. Registration will require a current resume, but is otherwise completely painless. Since all graduates will need a resume, it is a good idea to start one early. Advisors can provide general information about your field of interest and sometimes know about open or opening positions. |
